Another thing I like about cats. You will not be able to costume them without blood loss, which is as it should be, IMO.

The first time I knitted a sweater for my (then baby) daughter, I had to take one shoulder seam apart and retrofit a button band. Being an easily confused new mum who was quite sure it was fine and I was missing something, I had to do the taking apart bit with it actually on her. It went on - just - but I think her head might have come off with it if I'd tried.

My kids have stupidly large heads.
