Thanks to Hurricane Irene, our electricity went out on Saturday around 2:30 PM and it’s still out!!!!!
I’m cranky today (at work now) because it was too hot to sleep, so I tossed and turned all night, and I just threw everything in my fridge and freezer in the dumpster.
I had just gone grocery shopping a few days ago – What a waste of $$$$$$$
However, I must thank and praise God for His protection during the storm...
...The winds were vicious and amazingly strong and the rains soaked the ground to the extent that HUGE trees were uprooted and fell on houses, vehicles, power lines and unfortunately, some people.
The weekend was rough = No A/C, No Church services, tons of property damage and feeling sad and disoriented...
...BUT, it could have been worse.
