I thought some people might be interested in my latest blog posts on things to think about in designing ebook covers. Judging Books By Their Covers (http://theoldshed.me/?p=257) is mostly about text and More On Covers (http://theoldshed.me/?p=263) is mostly about thumbnails and rectangles.

Love to look, but a tracking cookie originating from your site (apparently) is preventing your page from loading (it stalls as it tries to load the page). At least that's what I think is happening. You might want to deactivate that thing!

Sorry, guys. Immediately after posting my links, the whole website crashed. I've contacted my hosting company and am trying to sort it out now. I'll let you know when it's live again.

ETA: Should be working again now.

I think that if you want to discuss it here, discuss it here. Blog links should be in the self-promotion forum.

A great free alternative to photoshop I've fallen in love with is Gimp (http://www.gimp.org/downloads/). But if you have 100$ to spare, it's always good to hire someone.
