Hi

I have a new website - http://www.travelandtalk.info. I am looking for articles for all destinations, ideally these would be informative, interesting and lively. Photos and humour always appreciated. These can be anything from short articles of a few hundred words to longer features. Please check the writers' info tab for more information.
Reviews are also welcome, if you had a great holiday or trip we want to hear it, equally, if something was less than perfect that's good too! http://www.travelandtalk.info/writersinfo.htm Thanks for reading and happy travels. Matt

Can you say in more detail exactly what we have to write about these destinations? Like hotels, things to see, restaurants?

Hi
Many thanks for the reply, as below:

Please only take these as general guidelines. Within reason general articles can be any length but should be at least 300 words, for the Great Moments in Travel and Randoms section they can be much shorter anything up to 500 words is fine.

Articles should be lively and entertaining and humour is definitely welcome and appreciated. They should also ideally contain key information on a destination - an info box at the end containing details on flights, visas, time of year to go etc is a good way of doing this. However, the most important point is that if it's a good, well written article the chances are we will publish it.

Bringing the smells, sounds, and sights to life is just as important as telling us about any tours, trips or expeditions you took or great hotels and hostels where you stayed. And of course photographs are an advantage.

This is a great way to build up a portfolio of published work. You retain copyright over your work and if you do manage to sell it elsewhere, please let us know.
