I have noticed in the Google transtations I get for my MS that when a sentence in English begins with "I" it is ommitted in the Spanish version.
For instance "I walked thrught the door" comes back as "Caminé a través de la puerta".
I know this is common in conversation, but is it also correct in writing a story? Should I be re-inserting all those "yo's"?
As an aside, my translation is nearly finished, and I will be needing an editor to check it for me. I don't have a lot of money, but will pay a reasonable fee or in copies. Any thoughts?
