Here on this mountain, we can almost always count the number of '90 degree days a year' on one hand... this year, we're counting weeks instead of days. It's just brought the whole area to a crawl. Which is why I started the thread. It's just too hot.

We set a record today! I have now lived to see it over a hundred on this mountain. (102F in the shade as I write). I knew something was up when I went out to hang laundry and the lawn was too hot for my bare feet! That is just freaky.

It's so hot, the rubber soles of my shoes fused with the sidewalk.

Actually, it's winter here, so it's not hot. Although it is heating up... 2 days ago I actually broke out into a sweat while walking somewhere. Of course, I had long pants and a jacket on anyway, but I didn't need them.
