Endorsements in promotion?

Can you quote a great endorsement you were given in your book proposal? It seems like you would just mention the name of endorsers, but if you get one that sells your book well, can you use it right in the proposal?

Not in a proposal. If you have relevant experience, mention that. Only quote the endorsement when you're published and have permission to use the quote.

Ok, thanks. I have permission but I guess endorsements belong on the back of a book or in the first few pages after publication, right?

You can put them on the front cover if they're really good, but only one.

And don't include quotes from people no one's ever heard of: it doesn't make you look professional.
