Back in the day.....

....before disposable nappies were invented, babies had to wear plastic pants over their towelling nappy. The pants had elastic around the waist and legs.

Does anyone remember what they were called?

The reason I ask is I'm watching the tennis and one of the woman is wearing a skirt that reminds me of those pants.

I'm sure they did here. It's really bugging me now.
