My sympathies.

How did it work out with the stapler?

Do you have metal fillings?

I understand that Lucille Ball could pick up radio stations in her head.

Total sympathy. Try doing behavioral experiments with her. It's fun.

Ring a bell every time she eats!

I find singing very quietly to yourself helps. Especially if you can think of an appropriate song. Not loud enough for her to hear you. Just something for you to concentrate on.

For instance, I used to work with someone who was a real bully. So when she kicked off on someone, I would sing the theme tune to Malcolm in the Middle.

I feel your pain, but your post did make me laugh - does that help?:D

Walk up to her when she's alone. Smile. Ask her how she's doing. Then, as you leave, walk past her, pause, and whisper, "I know your secret."

And that sort of thing is why I'm not allowed out of the basement very often anymore. :)

Everybody I work with has that effect on me. I just want to bitch slap them all and tell them to shut the fuck up. Drama drama drama.

I drive a school bus. I TOTALLY get you. You have a stapler; I have brake checks. All better.

Lol thanks all good suggestions, she's not in today so having a really good bitch with co-workers helps at least I know it's not just me...

Two words: Police escort.

Show up with some cops - she'll probably quiet down quick smart. And if she says anything annoying, well, the cops are trained to subdue an opponent. You don't even have to lose your stapler!

Of course, this works best if you happen to know a couple of officers. Otherwise it could get quite pricey...

And if all else fails, accuse her of espionage. I'm not sure quite how this will help, but isn't espionage such a cool word?

Yes! Accuse her of being a Russian sleeper!

I knew one of these once, but more in the literal sense than the cool espionage sense.

What does that mean?!?!?!?!

Caitlin Black

In my mind, "Passive-aggressive grunter" is someone who grunts instead of saying things, but passive-aggressively.

Like, instead of "Oh, you would think that." It becomes: "Ungh...uh."
