Marisa Louise

It's really quite funny. Certain things I have no problem conversing about.

Like--we ran into this pair of fans and they were speaking in French. They asked if either of us did and Stacy was like "uhhh no" and I was like "un peu" real quick. I said that and then almost kicked myself.

I get really shy with strangers with my speaking skills so as soon as that popped out I was surprised at myself and kind of just.... got a little nervous.

The first few sentences came out then I got stuck on a word. I forgot "turn" in french... "tourner" so....I had to insert an English word.

Then there were some sentences that were actually pretty quick to come from my mouth both verbally and mentally.

Kind of like when you're driving fast and hit a street with lots of stop signes. Faaaaaaast.....stop. Faaaaaaaast.....stop.

of course!! everyone is welcome in 'Céline's livingroom' ;) and in april we happen to be in it too. I can't say exactly when I and my fellow dutchies Eggy, Dennis, Suzanne and Stephanie will be there but my guess it the second part of april...we are waiting for Céline's Team to announce the april dates...

I'm seriously thinking about going before the convention if I have managed to save up enough. Because I suck at being aptient and I can't wait. :D But on the other hand I'm not sure what's happening with my job yet, if I'll get my contract extended in March or not. That's what ti all comes down to, really, because I definitely want to make sure 100% that I am going to the convention. If I do get an extention though I am rpetty sure I'll be going to Vegas once before the convention as well. Or maybe I'm sooo just dreaming. :D

Without dreams, we are lost. Dreams, even if unrealized, make the pain and torment of everyday life just a bit more bearable.

Never give them up!

Hey Darryl, are you going to Vegas in April? I can't wait until April though!! It's going to be a blast...Meeting new people, it's going to be awesome!

Sorry for the delay in answering- I left for India on Friday @4pm east coast time and just got settled in the hotel.

I want to go in April, but this will depend on business pressures. Normally I'd be thinking of going the week of Céline's & my birthdays, but with so many people from far away going in April that's what I'll shoot for. I'm not going to buy tickets in advance- first I will probably reach my yearly TeamCéline limit, second I might be forced to be elsewhere for business, third it seems to be around a time when there would be last minute high quality seats available.

So, I'll just track everyone else's plans and work it out the last 3-4 weeks.

Hey pretty lady!

Not seeing you online at all this week, but AIM in india is broken for some reason.

Anyway, if you see our mutual friends, say hello for me too. I will do likewise if you wish when I'm there at the end of the month!

Have a safe, fun, exciting trip. NO SPEEDING TICKETS. They are evil! They make you see Céline less often!

wahoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Just thought of this. If you can swing it, take a copy of For Keeps INTO the show. Then when the camera is panning the audience, hold it up so that they zoom in on it! That way, we make sure 4100 people can see that it's out and fabulous all at one time!!

If you think you can't get the actually book in, get a colour copy of the front done- I'm sure Jenna etc wouldn't mind the copy for the purposes of a free ad to 4100 people!

A question for Cindy....what happened witht he English version of your site? ARe the travel packages for non Holland people still available? I can't see them. :(

Filine
12-12-2005, 06:40 PM
Sandra, I know it takes a long time before it's online but we are working very hard to finish the english part. We are halfway in translating all the pages. Soon we'll have the packages available from:

Amsterdam, Brussels, München, Frankfurt, Oslo, Helsinki, Copenhagen and Lisboa.

Other cities (anywhere in the world) are on request

Sandra, I asked our travelagent and Stockholm is available for you...

I asked him to do a test calculation for the same week we are going (18 to 24th of april):

The first thing he came up was not good enough...LOL...so I send him to look harder!...I'll let you know what he came up with

aww. I'm sure you will! Although, I thought that too still like a couple of months ago, but I managed to get enough from selling some stuff and as it turns out, that I won't be moving during the next couple of months, I can use all the "extra money" for traveling, and not for boring stuff like new furniture. lmao I think I have about 2000€ (half of which used to be furniture money:P) on my traveling/moving account..

Tati, I'm thinking about going next summer. I have almost 3 months break during the summer, so I'll have bunch of time to work and travel. (Although working AND traveling at the same time would be even better..anyone in the U.S. has a job to offer?:D )

I wanted to move out of town, but decided I best just stay around here until I can afford to be on my for sure. Right now, I still need some support from my mom and dad. Maybe that's cause I spend too much money on going to Vegas. I caculated approx. how much it was, and belive me you don't wanna know!

Vegas savings tip:

Want to stay in one of the top resorts but don't think you can afford it?

If you're 21+ register for all of the casino rewards cards. Your next trip to Vegas will be a lot cheaper. Membership is free and it takes about 10 minutes to sign up. Some of them even give you a small free gift when you sign up. Do not throw a single red cent into a slot machine without a card! Even if you gamble a little bit (I'm pretty sure I have about $20-30 of play on my cards, at most), you will be eligible for members-only deals from the hotels participating in the club.

I was able to book the Paris hotel for my trip in April for only $89 TOTAL for 3 nights. I'm only paying for Saturday and the other two nights are totally FREE! Soooo excited!!! The casinos want you there to gamble. I saw the deal on Fatwallet.com and never thought I'd qualify but I thought I'd give it a shot and the casino checked and I do. My $30 or so lost translated into nearly $300 in savings!

So kids, sign up for club cards, drop $20 in the slots (who knows, you could even win!), and you're a player. Troll the fatwallet.com travel message board and you'll find some pretty slick deals on hotels, and when you see those players club member only deals you'll be able to say 'why yes I am'.

Annnd that would be a negative for this week. LOL. 68 today at the warmest. Humph. Darn it. Well, whatever. Maybe the jacuzzi. LOL.

Aaaanyway, Cindy & Fanny, I keep having dreams about you guys and me in Vegas. They're such strange ones, too. LOL. We were loading into kayaks in like, doubled up wetsuits and were going into the water. After that we had samurai training (Fanny had a recording for the moves she had to do that she was listening to during the training) and Cindy and I shared a bed in one small hotel room while Fanny had like, four separate beds in hers. I don't know if she was sick or what but......

Cindy woke me up at 5 AM when I'd just gone to bed at 1 AM. She told me that we absolutely HAD to go watch the sunrise in Lake Las Vegas. LOL. I was so mad. But then I ran into some really cute guy that was rhyming all the time. I don't know it was super weird. LOLOL!

Oh girls and guys! I am so lucky! My dad just told me a few minutes ago that he booked a flight for me, him, and my mom to go to Vegas in Sept. for my 21st. What a way to spend the 21st b-day, huh? Ah! I haven't even left for Vegas this time and I already am set for the next. I'm too excited right now!

We can't go the week of my b-day, because Celine is on break then, but we are going the week after. Sept. 21st-25th. (Thurs-Mon.)

Anyone wanna join!?

Well unfortunately I probably won't be going back until the 1st week of October. My mom is getting married on October 1st so I will be going to CA and I figured Vegas is just a hop skip and a jump away.

Hopefully I can make it for a short trip in the summer too, 9 months away from Celine is just too long for me to bear.

:PartySmil

I arrive on Thursday 20th April @ 14:30, leave on Sunday 23rd April @ 23:55. My room is in the Augustus Tower at Caesars.

Since this is so late booking, I'll just have to try the standby line for tickets and such. I am certain it won't be a problem for some of the nights, but probably not going to get lucky for all of them. Ah well!

Yea, this seems to be an issue that comes up every time that I go to Vegas and Darryl is there at the same time. I'd like to do some clarifying. The way you make me look bad, frankly Anna, doesn't do the actual situation any justice! LOL.

First of all, I'm already married. I have 6 (or is it 7, now?) husbands and I really cannot schedule anymore into my life!

Cindy has like... her entire extended family (sisters and brothers in Celine etc) cramming into a couple of rooms at a hotel, otherwise I'd be sleeping over at her place...possibly in the same bed (though the floor would bring about some fun)! And Fanny's parents will be with her so, that doesn't leave much room for any action. LOL.

Darryl is simply the marriage counselor in the situation. He provides us with solutions to temporary and minor problems (even if it means providing shelter) and provides a good balance in our tangled love-mobile in times of need. And let's face it; we husbands occasionally are in need of some flattery and material spoiling, which Darryl naturally-- and occasionally, excessively-- excels in!

No, but in all seriousness, the situation is that Darryl is a generous person who loves to help a friend out when in need, as evident by the gifts he's provided a few within plain sight of the website and other things that he lets a few close buddies know as well.

I was originally going to stay with Cindy and her dutchies but there was a misunderstanding and an influx of others who ended up coming from long distance with her. Darryl is doing me a favor by allowing me to stay with him 'last minute'-- and I have to say I REALLY appreciate it.

Otherwise almost my entire convention team would be there and after roadblock proceeded by roadblock along the way so far, I'd not be there after months of looking forward to it.

I just have to thank him for being so sweet, open-minded and willing to share, and felt this presented a good opportunity to do so. ;-)

Thaaaaaanks, Darryl! You're a lifesaver!

Marisa was kind enough to call me to let me know this. I hadn't made it to this board yet, so it was good she called.

Sounds like everyone is a bit bummed, and of course worried. I am still going- there will be like 20+ people there with Fanny, Cindy & friends, Marisa and myself. I'm sure we will find things to do to commiserate.

I wonder how big a banner 25 people could make to hold up for Celine to see?

We will be stopping by to see some friends that are involved with the show, they are all likely to be bummed out as well. OMG- the poor box office having to deal with 4*4100 seat refunds, and angry people.

I think we need to help THEM commiserate!

But of course, we have nothing but love for Céline

"Show Cancellation Notice
April 19, 2006

We regret to inform you that the performances of A New Day... scheduled for Thursday April 20, Friday April 21, Saturday April 22 and Sunday April 23 have been cancelled. Her doctor has prescribed medication to treat the associated irritations, and instructed her to rest for the next 5 days, so that the virus can run its course.

Those who purchased tickets with a credit card for the cancelled performances will be automatically refunded. Those who purchased tickets with cash may present tickets at the original point of sale for a refund. For ticket exchanges for a future performance, please contact the original point of purchase. Ticket holders who purchased through Ticketmaster may call 1-877-4-CELINE.

Oh no! Sorry to hear that your shows are cancelled guys, I now know how much that seriously sucks. But don't forget it's not anywhere near as sucky as how Celine must be feeling right now. I read up on the symptoms of labyrinthitis and the balance issues can persist for weeks and even months. Sounds very painful. Poor Celine :((((

Wow, is this the first time she has been really sick during the show? First time I've heard of. Poor girl! She's got to be feeling terrible. Ear problems are the WORST!

I am sure you guys will all find something to do while in Vegas--it is just a bummer to get all the way there, and be so excited for such a long time, and then not be able to see GF. I wonder how long everyone will be there, and if any of them will get to see the show next week, if Celine is back to feeling better.

Pooooooooor baby! :e2flowers Feel better soon, Celine.

Yeah Angela.... this really sounds bad! I'm thinking of calling Marisa later to see how they're doing.

I really hope Celine will be fine next week and 1001% for the May 7th show.

I found a pretty easy to understand page on the web about the problem. Well, mostly easy to understand.

http://www.emedicine.com/emerg/topic290.htm

If you look at the stats, Celine fits almost every likely category. The 2 to 1 ratio of girls to guys getting this sucks.

- Oh if you come here again, please tell Marisa that I called her to ask how you guys were doing etc especially Cindy, Fanny etc who travelled hours (far away) etc. I sent her an e-mail explaning that.
I know that beside this "sad" event you guys are having lots of fun! :) I called back to Marisa but both times the machine did answer the phone. Thanks!

- Please send some news ;)

Again "I'm not going to Vegas but someone I know is"...

My aunt, uncle, and cousins are going there - well technically they are going to the Grand Canyon but they are flying into Las Vegas and spending the day there before they go to their other hotel. *jealous*

Poor Céline. I had a horrible inner ear infection last fall, and it’s the worst. It messes with your equilibrium, and there were times when I would get so dizzy I couldn’t stand up straight…or should I say that was most of the time. Not to mention the pain/itching in your ear. Mine lasted for about a week, so I hope she feels better soon.

P.S. I hope all you guys still have a blast in Vegas, I‘m sure you will!

Hi Guys!

Just wanted to make a quick report:

Things are going pretty well over here and most of the time we're having a blast despite the cancellations. It's been as wonderful as it could be considering the circumstances for everyone.

As of right now, next week's shows are still scheduled to begin on Wednesday and reports from here are saying that she is in need of some serious rest at this point, due to the labrynthitis and such, and that she's just knocked out.

Cin and the dutchies have extended their trip until Wednesday and their ticket situation is all settled (whew!) So hopefully all goes well for them!

Will report more soon. Must get sleep before I leave tomorrow at 4:30 for class.

Everyone pray really hard that Celine will not have to cancel any more shows. And especially hard for the Dutchies!

The Dutchies here with Cindy have rescheduled their departure until Thursday, in the hopes of seeing the Wednesday night [26] performance. This means they have to stay longer, and re-book all of their return trips. That is a very big trama!

The Box Office was very understanding and helpful, and in a very rare opportunity managed to get all of them seated in the same row- orchestra 3 FF. This is a very good sign, since it wasn't because the whole row was already empty.

If ever you have something go wrong when you are suppose to see the show, please please please remember that it is not the fault of the people working at the show or box office. I know this seems common sense, but you would not believe what has happened this week- cases of yelling and even shoving the box office employees. As has happened with the Dutchies, being sad and upset but also patient and understanding can help things work out much better than taking it out on the innocent! The staff of the show very much want to make it better for you- just be respectful.

So, everyone just keep thinking positive things for everyone being affected by this- especially Celine! :e2heartbe

Aw, I hope for you guys that she performs on Wednesday! I have a feeling she will, so keep your hopes high! I hope that she is feeling better, too!

This is so ridiculous how people can be so rude, selfish, and etc that I prefer to keep to myself.. lol anyway........

What people think?!?! C'mon, Celine is just a human being, she's not a porcelain doll - she can get sick sometimes.... and we have to understand that. Nobody wants to be sick! If she could choose between doing the shows and being sick of course she would get the first option.... anyway...... heheh those things make me mad!

I already heard bad rumours of someone saying that Fanny told that person that Celine went to the hospital. Oh gossips.....anyway... I don't know if its true or not, but for me it surelly seems not true... sorry! heheh What I heard was that Celine is fine, just need to rest for a couple of days.

As I said to Marisa, Celine was probably feeling not good when I saw her in March, I could see on her eyes that she was completely out of the show (not into it). And then, she kept feeling this way along the next week when Marisa went, then took a break and came back ans just did 3 shows before she really got sick. As a good stubborn as she is.... lol she kept fighting it like pretending she was fine..... -- Oh Celine.. lol - and now there she is. Anyway........when I heard she was sick and cancelled all those shows........... I was worried about her. Well, when these things happen, it's time to be together and understand the situation, not going madly crazy and saying bad words to innocent people.

- Lets just wish that Celine will recover soon and that she will be able to perform on Wednesday ... and everybody will be happy, then! :)

Shoving? I hope they were arrested.

I don't how people can call themselves fans and then have no respect for something as basic as Celine's health. Duh, I'd rather she cancel one show on me now so that I can keep seeing her for twenty more years to come rather than see her now and have her work herself into the grave.

It wouldn't have been fans being so selfish. It would have been spoiled little rich people. Saturday and Sunday I spoke with a lot of the people getting refunds and almost all were sad to be missing Celine, none were pigheaded and stupid. Many still wanted to take pictures by the large Celine sign at the doors, so of course I obliged.

There was the couple on their 40th anniversary, tears in her eyes. There was the lady in the wheel chair, worried that Celine was ill- imagine, she is in a wheel chair and all she worries about is Celine's health. [Yes Anna, love you too!]. There was the little boy with his mom who seemed to be in her late twenties. He wanted to touch the big picture and was saying "Looking mommie- seeleen!".

I was kinda ok with not seeing her this trip- until that little boy....

Hi everyone,

I am back home, we weren't able to exchange the tickets after all (we wouldn't be able to fly back until May 2nd) even though our travelagent Marlon did everything he could to keep us there, so sadly enough we didn't get to see Céline! But like Darryl said, all we care about is Céline and her health and if we were dissapointed about not seeing her it was mostly because we had three people with us who flew out for the very first time.

We spoke to Yves, who we happened to run into at the boxoffice on saturday and he told us that Céline got really ill on saturday and almost collapsed during soundcheck, she couldn't stand on her legs anymore. Yves told us she is on antibiotics and that she has (had) severe problems with her balance, since the virus is also in her ear.

From the boxoffice I heard that the show will continue until at least November 2007, but that all cancelled shows need to be done in the end. Adding the shows that were cancelled the past two weeks A New Day... is probably running until December 2007.

Despite everything I spend a wonderful weekend in Vegas with Fanny, Marisa, Darryl and all my Dutch friends and we were able to make the best out of it! One of the highlights singing Céline on the Strip in Marisa's car with all the windows wide open, and a great simple dinner in Roxy's diner in the Stratosphere tower, that little restaurant is so neat with it singing waiters, we had a blast! Anyway... more soon I am exhausted.

Aww, that just breaks my heart. :( I can't even imagine how Céline must feel when she has to cancel. And those people shoving? That is just appalling. What do they expect Céline to do? And for crying out loud, it's not the box office staff's fault... they are just as disappointed because now they have so much refunding/rescheduling to do.

Dang! After the success with getting the seats for AND, to be undone by the travel stuff just sucks. I'm sure Marlon must have no hair left- seems like a really decent person!

Just to let you know, seems like a lot of people have had a run of bad luck in the past week: my luggage is STILL missing. And although it's truly my fault/bad luck, my camera is DEAD. The photo stick is fine, so I have the photos, but the camera itself isn't going to be repairable. {Marisa & Fanny: There was a small hole in the bottom of the bag it was in, so although a water fight while carrying a camera wasn't one of my brightest ideas, I had properly closed the bag- just neglected to check for holes first. Still, it WAS a ton of fun!}

Cindy, tell everyone that I am very glad to have met them all, and that having 15 people in my hotel room while playing with a stuffed frog is a record for me!

On T'aime Céline!

Why is that so hard to imagine? It's just common decency to be more concerned about someone's health, especially someone you admire, than about missing a concert...wheelchair or no wheelchair...

Though I'd be curious to see if Celine would've done the show if she had injured her leg or something that doesn't effect her general feeling of well being or ability to sing. Like if she god forbid broke her leg...would she cancel the show for weeks given that you can't put pressure on it for a while? No reason she can't do the show sitting down in one spot (hellooo Seduces Me chair) or in a wheelchair if she must move around.

anghil5
04-25-2006, 11:31 PM
Yes, let's knock on wood that she doesn't break a leg, but I don't think she would be able to stand it having to sit in one place and performing. She moves around too much. She would probably do it though, just to not upset everyone by canceling!

Actually, I have zero doubt Celine would perform with a broken limb or similar. Most of the movement intensive songs don't truly require her to move to be magical, and as you've indicated, some songs would be just hilarious if they tweaked it to poke fun at her.

A few key things about this illness is that she could just completely faint, or get severely dizzy. That is far more dangerous than hobbling around with broken limbs. Also, the ear and audio feedback might well affect her pitch negatively. We've seen that she can still sing well without the ear monitors [Dance With My Father], but I suspect this would actually cause her to mis-tune her voice.

Oh, and just so that you didn't misunderstand Anna, I wasn't surprised that a person in a wheel chair would have more common sense than a Gucci clad bimbo from Beverly Hills- I was vilifying those twits. I find people with disabilities have far more common sense, and are far more grounded than those of us that aren't.

Hi! Cindy just told me about the canceled shows and Celine's illness, so I came here to see how everyone's doing. You're all pretty darn awesome. I said to Anthony last night, "Can you imagine flying to another continent to see a concert... and it gets canceled?" You know...that despite everything...I got to meet Fanny,Marisa and Darryl and when I think of the fact that we met because of Céline and of course because of you Jenna I can only be so thankful for such great friends. It's so special that four people, from four different countries, speaking three different languages meet up because they share a love for one woman, share a passion for her music. What can I say...to me that is a miracle and I am so grateful I got that chance.
And then the people at the box office...especially my two favourite ladies there...their kindness and generosity, unbelievable and so so so appreciated by me and everybody who was there with me.
And last, our dear sweet Céline...I try not to be sad because I was lucky enough to see her 14 times already, and I am the last one that should feel she's missing out on something, and I know I will see her again sooner or later. Most important of all is her health and I hope that despite there are always angry people who aren't reasonable, that she knows there are the people that will always be behind her and will be supporting her all the way...

As I write this, Céline is belting her songs out on stage. I was just speaking with the box office and they are watching her on close circuit tv. She even started at 8:31pm!

I know this will be read with mixed feelings for some of my new friends- they of course want Céline feeling better as fast as possible, but ah life can be soooo frustrating! I thought about not posting it, but we all would want to know that Céline was doing much better.

After the many hundred's of years I've lived, I have come to realize the deep wisdom in what is perhaps the most profound saying of the French:

Hey guys! Ahh I just have to write because I haven't been able to lately, really, and I know tonight will be just as impossible as the other nights this week.... but I had SUCH a great time with you all! It's too bad circumstances were not different. But we did a great job making it as good of a time as possible.....and SANS CELINE! That's an accomplishment! I think we get an A+ for that!

I can't wait 'til Fanny gets back. She took pictures of, like, everything-- including the birth certificate for Celine McFrog. LOL. Here I was frantically arranging the gift and everyone else partying in the room and Fanny was playing photographer. I'm so glad, too! She even has a recording of the "On T'Aime Celine!" on her camera. Good memories.

Mathias: I just have to say it was so great to meet you. I really enjoyed your enthusiasm and your effort to have a truly great time despite the cancellations and I especially enjoyed seeing you wrapped in a burgandy and hot pink towell at 2 AM...while taking a walk. I have a great picture of you laughing. I'll have to post that one. Shows what a truly good time we have........ thanks to your laughter in the pic.

Cindy: I hope you haven't tried waking Celine up again by blowing her kisses from so far away. You know, you really should be more gentle with those! LOL! It was lots of fun to finally meet you...and I enjoyed smacking your booty, my husband. Look forward to another time with less stresses for you.....and more time with you all to myself!!!!! PS: I think that's the longest goodbye I've ever managed, from Friday!

Fanny: What to say, what to say. My first husband......... too many memories. I can't believe that in a couple of hours you'll be so far from me again! AH! It's too much for my heart to bare. LOLOLOLOLOL! I cannot wait until August when you come back out. A whole entire month with you!? Ohhhh man. It's going to be nuts. Can't wait to go kayaking again--though I don't think we'll ever be able to duplicate the laughs we shared this time. It was just too much fun-- I'm sure more memories will be formed though. Thanks so much for your friendship. Xoxoxox. PS: Do you need help?"

Darryl: My God..... I can't even begin to write about you. It was really so great to see you again and it was such a good time. You were a great comfort during this trip and were so generous, again, with just about everything you can imagine. Who else would think ahead to have a breakfast ordered the night before so that I could eat at 3:30 AM before heading home from Las Vegas? Only Darryl, I think. (You guys-- he called room service the night before and asked that at 3:30 AM I have a bagel and cream cheese and a soda to drink before I got on the road). Not only that but you continued to walk me to the car--in your pajammas at 4:30 AM-- and then checked my oil for me in the dark! Thank you so much for everything. You need to change your little saying under your picture to "live saver" it's truly what you are.

To Eg and Suus, though they are not registered here: I only wish there were more time to share. What little time we did have together was great and filled with lots of fun. I'm so glad to have met you.

TO ALL OF THE DUTCHIES: Thank you for your hospitality and letting me stay with you the one night I'd have been stranded with nowhere to stay. You all made it possible for me to share one more evening with you all. I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to meet all of you. Hopefully there is a next time and it all turns out better and much more happy. You're all troopers.

XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO!

Fanny, when you land you must tell me how you were posting here when you were at the airport?

Thanks for the SMS's, it made the wait at the Indian Embassy not just tolerable- but a hoot!

Hope your dad didn't misunderstand.

Well, last time you mentioned it was when you mumbled in your sleep that you couldn't get enough of it, and that I should continue to do so.

Hmmm.

Then again, maybe you were talking about Tofu Crisps?

Ohhhhh come, now! You know sometimes a good friend can be more useful than a husband!

Who else can you complain and over-analyze to for hours and hours in person or on the telephone if not!? LOL.

(Puts the building blocks and crayons back on the floor and starts finger painting a window) You're like a great girl friend!

Look, all I'm saying is: I love soy crisps.

Ohmigod. Someone go take that noose off Darryl's neck and tell him she didn't mean it like that.

Poor guy.

Darryl, I think you're a sex symbol.

Hah! He knows. We have an abusive relationship like that. He tells me I'm a typical American who walks in and demands she get her way while certain other friends (I'll never forget it) are "more like Celine" and are just such sweet, well intentioned people....and I tell him he's like a girlfriend. It all evens out!

Darryl: You know I love you!

We missed you this trip, Jenna. You should come next time!

PS: I obviously have it bass ackwards. I have several female husbands and one male girl friend.

I did notice that, but y'know. I wasn't gonna say anything. Live and let live, says I!

Wish I could have been there, too. Sounds like a fun trip!

Fanny you're going in August!?! When???? Ever and I will probably be there sometime after the 12th. My mom is getting married on the 12th and then we will probably drive/fly up to Vegas a day or two later. It would be cool to be there at the same time.

Marisa Louise

Hey!

We'll be going probably the 25th through the 28th..... but she'll be in CA before hand! So you could still meet if Vegas trips dont line up.

Stephanie went to the show on Wednesday as I told you, and I think Céline referred to us in the show. She said:

This is a part from an e-mail she posted on the Dutch mailinglist I translated it back to English so I could turn out Céline actually said it slightly different but here it goes:

After To Love You More she started talking about being ill. It all began on Saturday when she was preparing for the show when she suddely started to feel dizzy. She thought she hadn't eaten enough and maybe had a low blood sugar so she went to get something to eat. But it didn't work and in the end the show had to be cancelled even though the audience was already inside. Céline herself thought she would be allright the next day but on Sundayafternoon her dizzyness still wasn't gone. She called the doctor who did a bloodtest and she appeared to have a mid ear infection (viral labyrinthitis) which can last from a week up until a year (!). Céline was happy that it i her case was only a week. Then she joked: "I was not only singing the Titanic, I was ON the Titanic."

Then she told she knew that there are people who fly to Vegas especially for her and who had to go back without seeing her. "It's so hard to do a show, but to cancel a show is even harder." she got a huge applaus and it was obvious she really had a hard time, knowing this.

:) I am sure she got our present!!! :) :) :)

Yeah, that's so great of Celine! :D
Btw, Cin, didn't she also said something like "those people know who they are" (of hoe kan je "maar dat de mensen in de zaal dat beter wisten dan zij zelf" het best vertalen)?

So happy for Steph, us & Céline! :D
