Why the two year gap?

It wasn't quite silent - there were stories still uploaded for critique in Polished and Ready, for example - but I think it may have been that the excellent Short Fiction forum, along with the Flash Fiction Challenge room (for which the password is flashed), between them covered much of what the regulars of this forum wanted.

We 'relaunched' this forum in May with the aim of specifically helping AW members to regularly write and submit flash fiction for publication. I hope that the activities and threads here will be useful for those people who write flash, or are thinking of trying it.

I love that you describe it as "cool".
