I'm in search of someone familiar with the romantic suspense genre willing to do a relatively fast read-through (around a week's time) of my finished manuscript.

I need someone completely unfamiliar with the story to read the entirety and tell me which passages work and which don't.

I don't need grammar (unless it's glaringly obvious), spelling, or minor fixes.

I am more than willing (and have the time) to offer the same in return for any genre except erotic, horror, or Christian (unfamiliar with the markets).

I've posted the first chapter to see if it's something someone will want to help with.
