I'm really stuck at the beginning of my story. I know exactly where I want to go and have the big conflict in the middle already planned out, but I seem to be stuck when it comes to starting the story itself. I think I'm almost editing myself because so far I have wrote out about five different "introduction" chapters and I find something wrong with each one. Does this happen to anyone else? If so how do you get past that wall and get into the meat of the story? Thanks.

What if you start writing from the big conflict in the middle? Write that part, writing as much as you can, even going all the way to the end. Once you have that you can back-out to fill in the the beginning. Plus the details of you write for the middle and end might shed some light on what form the beginning takes.
