Not sure entirely what it practically means, but I seem to have entered a top 100 Amazon Kindle charts with my The Depths of Deception
* #100 Top Rated in Kindle Store > Kindle eBooks > Fiction > Genre Fiction > Mystery & Thrillers > Thrillers > Spy Stories & Tales of Intrigue

And here I am, trailing at the very back of the pack :)

Not sure if its good news or whether everyone gets into this kind of chart with their genre - but its fun to be in such esteemed company :)

Very cool! That's exciting! Many happy sales to you :).

Thank you. Like I said, not sure what it is I've done, apart from get some nice five-star reviews - maybe that's just done something in the Kindle algorithm - either that or I'm writing in such a niche market that there's not a lot of competition.

I'm very curious to see if it translates to sales. Even if it doesn't, its great bragging rights to be up there with Arthur Conan Doyle and other 'real' greats - however temporarily :)
Weird how 'accomplishments' in writing now encompass things like mathematical algorithms. Biggest fun thing is that its for a book my Agent initially passed on, so I had the quiet joy of sending him a little news update about its digital progress, and I guess I'll see if it makes him reconsider.

So just out of curiosity, I looked it up. There are 2,524 books in that category. I would say top 100 is pretty darn amazing :) As another curiosity, if you don't mind sharing, how long has that book been out?
