Q Queer
U Unsure
I Intersexed
L Lesbian
T Trans
B Bisexual
A Asexual
G Gay
which is guess isn't really any different from the "QUestioning" part.
It made me confused. Err, not confused in that way. Ahh, now I'm just confusing myself.

Well, Qu is phonetically a single letter. I can only find a handful of words in English that begin with Q that aren't followd by U--all are loan words.
And Unsure has some unfortunate semantic connotations for many; largely that implies that sexuality/orientation are "decisions."

The U can stand for Unidentifying or Ungendered, though in my experience neither term is in common use.
I thought of that, but figured "unsure" didn't have the baggage. Eh well, whatever. I never thought of the U being part of the Q.
