If you can, while your mate is with child, try not to say, "We're pregnant." I hear men say that sometimes, and it drives me nuts, despite the cutesy factor.

Congratulations! Being a parent is seriously awesome in every way. Just know that you will have to survive about 3-6 months of sleepless hell at the outset. It will get better, I promise.

Very exciting. Don't let people scare you with all the bad stuff about child raising. It's mostly true, but the good stuff outweighs it. I love hanging out with my kids. Best wishes for a happy, healthy baby.
