Small goddess statues - found in ME ruins

Those little "mother goddess' statues; household gods, etc. A general term for them?

Thanks all! I should have said, but Babylonian goddess Tiamat - they found a lot of these in ruins at Babel...

Thank you - yes! These are the ones. Every ancient culture has one. Aphrodite, Venus, Tiamat, Asherah/Ashteroth in mid-east/Mediterranean.

***I have a question, your DAM in siggie - is this a reference to the Palestinian rap group? I have some of their CDs! I guess Dam is "blood" in Hebrew, afterlife in Arabic, and well - English "Damn!" They liked to play on the word.
