Hello folks,

Another month is soon upon us and we need to pick a book!

SF is up, so please suggest popular, easily obtained books that we can discuss for April. If anyone wants to suggest a theme for the suggestions, that's always welcome. I would suggest something on the short side, so we can get caught up.

As always, please include a link to amazon or similar.

I'm going to suggest 'The Chrysalids' by John Wyndham. It would be a good 'catch-up' book since A. It's short and B. a lot of people have probably already read it (somehow I managed to go through years of public schooling without ever having it as assigned reading).

Here's an amazon link to a version of the book that looks much nicer than the copy I picked up for $2.99 at a used bookstore (but does the amazon copy come pre-underlined and with notes scribbled in the margins? I think not!)

Okay, The Chrysalids it is then! Hope everyone held onto their copy from junior high.

...Unless there are some over sci-fi novels people know of and want to recommend.

:D I actually wouldn't mind just going with that, but tradition requires a poll. Unless several folks agree with post 3 and want to vote for that.

So, any other nominations? We could read a few Hugo nominees for free online...

They also have Little Brother on the list as a free download. It's not really short, but I've been wanting to read it for awhile.
