Some of my fondest memories are from rural Missouri . . . Carl Junction in the late 30's and early 40's to be exact. I've also lived in Los Angeles, San Francisco and currently Las Vegas - - Take it from an old geezer . . ."The place you just left, and the place you'll go next, are always the best places you'll see in your life."

Welcome! Can't say I'm a real fan of poetry myself, but that doesn't mean much. Hope that you come to frequent here more than I do. Ahaha. =P

Don't sweat the age thing. You were probably correct in your previous assessment of not mentioning your age. You should have waited until you put something truly brilliant up and then went "Ah ha! I am a mere 15 years old, take that!" Also, I know you probably despise where you live now, but.. well, it won't always be that way. Furthermore rural MO? Take it all in, man. Nature is great for drawing poetry. Good luck
