View Full Version : Which do you check out the most?

Which of these do you like to check out?

Now if I could find an AW thread on Orlando Bloom, it would probably be my favorite! But for now I'll just stick to the Novel Writing forum!

kristie911, there's a thread that included Bloom back in March, but the picture of him is gone now. As I recall, maestro posted a flattering picture of Bloom and claimed it was himself. Of course, many believe the picture he's using as his avatar these days is much closer to the truth. (Sorry, Ray!)

Maryn, lukewarm about Bloom, mad about maestro

Hmm, tough choices, Charlie. I'm still thinking.

I usually go to my Control Panel first thing. From there I can automatically see any threads I'm subscribed to that have had any recent action. Plus I can see if anyone's left me any rep comments.

After that it's the New Posts button to see what new zaniness has begun since last I visited.

Ray and I saw Orlando yesterday. He was pretty cute, but can we add Ray to the choices? :)

(I go to the control panel first, to check PMs, Subscribed Threads and Reps. Then I do as BF and check out the New Posts.)

First whose on and then New Posts.

I probably check threads most, whatever is new in my favourite forums - but I listed 'rep points' as my vote because I do go there quite often just to see if any arrived. I get an auto-notice if I have a PM so I don't 'go checking' that.

I never subscribe to threads so I often make posts and then forget to go back and check the thread for answers - oops about that!

When I first joined I'd go to SOS thread...

but now that I'm up to speed on that and always here, I start with New Posts, otherwise I'm possibly seeing things that may be too old.
I like seeing the posts and being able to comment as they happen.

I look at New Posts first, then Subscribed Threads. :)

The House of Love, of course... ;) Then the other threads like Novel Writing, etc. and what's new... then if I have PM, I'll read them. Then I might check if I have new rep points. Then I do it all over again... (don't you know I never leave here?)

Then I do it all over again... (don't you know I never leave here?)

I often wonder when you find time to write...

Me too, I do just like brokenfingers. He's copying me as usual.

But it gets tricky because sometimes I look at the New Posts, and it says there are three pages worth, and before I've had a chance to check out the first few posts, next time I go back to New Posts it tells me there are, like eight. So sometimes I just use the Back button over and over so I don't lose the long list.

Okay, Charlie, now I've thought about it so I can answer you.

The question is "Which do you check out the most," not which order or which one do you check first.

So I guess the answer is specific threads.

(don't you know I never leave here?)

What? You're kidding me! I woulda never guessed. You must do alot of lurking.

Orlando Bloom?? Ageism, sheer unmitigated ageism. He's young enough to be my ... uh ... little brother.

Now, George Clooney...yummy.

(psst. Dawno. What's an Orlando Bloom? I thought they were talking about the Junior League gussying up downtown before the tourist season. Am I missing something?)

10-19-2005, 04:36 PM
Depends on if he's coming, or going. :hat:

10-19-2005, 04:41 PM
Would that be the dashing and cool LOTR Orlando Bloom, or the whiny nancy-boy "Troy" version?

10-19-2005, 06:11 PM
I've checked out alot of librarians...

Rob :)

I forgot about the rep points... If you hadn't reminded me just now with this thread... I had to go check them out... thanks for all those who have given me some.

Orlando Bloom. Because I am a dirty minded middle aged lady.
