What are your goals for March? (Writing and otherwise)

You go first please, I'm still thinking about it...

Writing daily *gulp*; hopefully finish at least one of my this year NaNos, or at least move forward a bit.

Win NaNoEdMo with one of them that I consider 'finished' (I have no idea how how I'm gonna do that, though...)

omfg, where do I begin?!

1. Finish revisions on WIP (make it sparkle!)

2. Finish revisions on query (gah!)

3. Start working on synopsis

5. Research agents for first batch of submissions

Truthfully, I'll be happy if I accomplish just 2 of the above.

Finish, sub and sell the book I'm working on. Yes, within a month. Yes, I'm crazy. Yes, I'll do it.

Finish my damn BDSM novel that I've been working on since last summer. A sum total of two or three weeks' work spread over eight months. I write some of it for a few days, then leave it for weeks at a time. Bah.

  • Finish first edit of TMD book 2
  • Beta read a friend's middle-grade novel
  • Write 10,000 words between NF WIP and outlined YA urban fantasy
I thought the list was going to be longer when I started it. I might as well have skipped the bullets! :p

Finish the first draft of my story I'm using as a learning tool. I've been telling my friends that it's a three chapter "novel". It'll probably be shorter than a short story.

I want to milk at least $100 from the old programming projects I've left behind (without working on developing them; all development energy now goes into writing). I hadn't thought about it until now, but when I play one of my games online, it's a lot like a book signing. The game gets more activity because I'm there, and some of those people go on to subscribe.

I want to land the job I'm interviewing for this week.

Finally, I want to pass the 50 post mark.

Well, I had not written a word yesterday, so I consider 'writing daily' goal a failure, but I'll try writing the other days still.

Have not gone on with editing or spellchecking yesterday either... but will.

Finish my novel's last two chapters, edit whole novel within two weeks, work on perfecting query letter, edit novel again, send to beta reader, edit oncemore and send to all appropriate agents.

After all this I should have a week left in this month, which I'd like to have perfected my outline for a different novel, and complete chapter two of another one I just started.

Wishing everyone good luck. Here's to a productive March...

NaNoEdMo done. One of my 2010's NaNoWriMos virtually wholly spellchecked - yay.

Not so much with other goals, though...

Oh well!
