Mandatory noob post-- I've lurked here for a couple of years and thought it was time to take the plunge.

I'm in my 50's a business executive by day a writer of noir-ish mainstream fiction by night. I tend to focus on the New York neighborhood that I grew up in.

I'm 40K words into my first novel and look forward to getting to know you all

Hiya, fellow noob. My day job is the risk communicator/public information officer for a 14-county public health district in Georgia. At night and on weekends, I have been working on a paranormal thriller. At the moment, I'm slightly ahead of you in my WC - 57,000+.
