OK. So it's dull, dreary and raining. A thoroughly miserable day. What would you do to cheer yourself up? Something that doesn't cost the earth but makes you feel better.

Personally, I would go out for a serious walk in it (or drive, if necessary) to get something nice and easy for dinner, getting cold and damp in the process. Come in, dry off, have a hot drink and make cookies, then get yourself in a cozy corner with your feet tucked up and your hot cookies and some warm lighting, and read. With a nice and easy dinner to look forward to. Cat optional.
Sew(I quilt).
My mother quilted. She loved making the tops, but it was more of a job to make a quilt out of it; so she made three or four tops for every finished quilt.I used to quilt. Don't know why I ever packed it in. It's very relaxing. Guess I just got too many quilts.
Ever have a quilting party? My mother and her friends would from time to time.
I'm doing one by hand. It's just a crazy quilt, most of the fabrics came from goodwill or were given to me. It takes up a lot of time but it's sooo relaxing if you have the interest.
Find two or three people who want to learn.Sounds like a good idea. I don't know of anyone else that quilts though.
That looks amazing, and so complicated.
Buy new shoes (if you're female).
Buy some new tool (if you're male).
What else would we do with them?
Well there's the duct tape and the whipping and the pink bunny outfit...
