Any experiences around here re: Mel Keegan's GLBT Bookshelf? I just signed up, but admit I had never heard of it before being published.

And, seriously, Mel's a chick? That was a shocker. (Johnny in no way objects to women writing gay male fiction.) I remember 15-20 years ago thinking he was the only gay writer of SF in the world (Thomas Disch, of course, was a gay writer but rarely wrote about gay characters).

Arthur C. Clarke (admittedly he wasn't publicly out until late in life, but it was no secret in SF fan communities that he was gay)

...and no doubt many others I can't bring to mind right now
