I have a body of a manuscript formatted in HTML ready to upload to Calibre, but I'm still struggling with the pages before and after the manuscript - you know, the Title Page, Copyright Page, Also By This Author, Author Bio, Contact the Author, etcetera. So I need code to center this part, make that part left justified, etcetera, but without uploading a doc into a HTML converter, because that gets it cluttered with HTML formatting I really don't want - since it's for e-books, I don't want to impress my font on the buyer, I want the buyer to use his default font and my content to conform.

Can anybody help me with that?

You need an edtitor--a text editor is fine--to hand-code the html.

That page is a collection of resources, including tutorials. Most of what you want to do is very easy.

Thanks for the link - I'm just learning how to do the formatting myself - I have jEdit to work the code.
