I'm a little concerned about the safety of the site; it's quite possibly a malicious site, and would be ideal in terms of malware propagation.

I have a MalWare security system separate from my regular security system. After reading this, I ran a MalWare scan and everything checked out fine. That said, I wouldn't go back to that site and try my luck a second time.
