I love music, and ever since I was a kid it seemed like everywhere I went, I could picture my life as a movie, and I always imagined what song would be playing when I was doing certian things. Here is a sample of what music is playing depending on my mood

Happy: Jimi Thing or Tripping Billies by Dave Matthews
Volare or Ain't that a Kick in the Head by Dean Martin

Somber: November Rain by Guns and Roses

Determined: Once by Pearl Jam
The Game by Motorhead
Enter Sandman by Metallica
Voodo Child by Jimi Hendrix
My Way by Frank Sinatra

Depressed: Anything by Tori Amos or Jewel

Excited: *see determined, the list is the same

No mood, just "blah" - Birth of the Blues by Sammy Davis Jr.

That's just a small sample of my "life's soundtrack" What's yours?

When I was with my ex-boyfriend, I use to play Janis Joplin's Little Girl Blue a lot. But since I've been with my husband of over four years, I haven't listened to it; he's a much nicer guy. I kinda miss the song though, not my ex

Nique, do you know that Sinead O'Connor sang that song about her mother?
She still sometimes cries when singing it.

I am a big fan.

No theme songs, really.

But I have songs going through my head almost all the time.

Good mood music would be most anything by Bob Marley.

Determined would be most anything by Guns N Roses.

Sad .............is Pink Floyd's "Wish you were here," or Joan Osborne's "One of Us," or anything played by my late brother.

On a related note, I hate it when a good song is ruined by bad memories...

Completely sideways, man
I love music threads! This is in no way a full showing of what I'll listen to. Just what is in my list at the moment. It's constantly changing.

Naughty: Anything Type-O-Negative (especially "My Girlfriend's Girlfriend"), Tool, NIN, or that wicked Velvet Underground song, "Venus in Furs", Metallica (especially Loverman), Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds,Ertha Kitt (rrrROOWWRrrrr *grin*)

Nostalgic: Anything Leon Russell, Three Dog Night, lots of 70's stuff, Louis Armstrong,

Happy & Energetic: Indigo Girls, Dave Matthews, Queens of the Stone Age, Elvis (older stuff-pre Vegas), 50's and 60's classics (the upbeat stuff like Chantilly Lace), disturbed

Lovey & Snuggly: Dave Matthews (specifically Crash), Pink Floyd (all of Dark Side of the Moon)

Angry: NIN, Disturbed, Pantera, Metallica (especially 2X4)

And when I am writing, nothing. I really get into music. If I am listening to music I can't write.

Linkin Park is the perfect angry music.

When I need to be uplifted or feel as if someone is singing about what I'm feeling, surprisingly enough, some Goo Goo Dolls stuff.

Chilling out - Sarah McLachlan. Even though I hate the phrase 'chilling out'. The word 'relax' sounds even wankier.

Happy - Jamie Cullum

I'll have to have a think about this.

Determined: "Determined" by Mudvayne, or "Fly From the Inside" by Shinedown

Angry: "Right Now" by Korn (my absolute favorite song, as it turns out)

Sad: "My December" by Linkin Park

Energetic: "Rollin' " by Limp Bizkit

Okay, it's late & I'm tired. I'll think of some more later.

I'm not sure if this is what you meant, One Team, but I consider my theme song to be Both Sides Now by Joni Mitchell. If they make my so far unpublished, somewhat autobiographical young adult novel into a movie, this is the song I want playing as the theme song.

The Fireman by George Strait is the theme song to my life.

"They call me the fireman
That's my name
Making my rounds all over town
Putting out old flames..."
