It won't let me use quick reply. To post on any threads, I have to post reply and go to that screen. What up with that?

You'll notice the quick reply box says:

Please click one of the Quick Reply icons in the posts above to activate Quick Reply.

Meaning to click on "Post reply" or "Quote" to activate this reply window. :)

And yeah, it threw me at first, too. I expected to be able to type in that window, which is how it works on a different forum I belong to. *shrug*

It could also be your internet program. What kind of system are you using? When I'm on campus with MAC's it always goes to the quote reply, even if I hit Quick Reply. I think it's Mozilla? But I'm not sure.

See if you have Javascript disabled - I'd guess that's how Quick Reply works.

I do not think I changed anything, but now all I can use is the quick reply. I also can't access the rep dialog box. It just pops my cursor up to the top of the thread, any ideas?
Thank You
Sam

How weird. Maybe this should be asked over in the Tech Help forum. That's where all the techie kids hang out. ;)

1. Empty your browser cache.

2. Log off of AW. Make sure you know your AW password and Log on ID.

3. Delete your AW cookies from your browser.

4. Quit your browser, completely. Shut all browser windows.

5. If you're using Windows, restart your computer and log back on to AW.

6. If you're using Mac OS X, restart your browser and log on again. Make sure ou click the little box in the log in dialog to "remember" your log in if you're using a private computer and user account.
