View Full Version : Romancing the count...

Ever gawked at a wonder of the world in awe of the dedication it took to build it? Or grinned at the United Way thermometer knowing a thin thread of red was yours? Sent your check in early before the PBS pledges started? Maybe you believe your vote means something?

Then your the person needed in the Count to a Million (http://www.absolutewrite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=153510&page=393) thread as they try to top the hurdle of the first 10k today!

Is it silly?
Maybe dumb?
Perhaps only another up your post-count thread?

Maybe it’s not! Maybe it really is a great way to say it’s isn’t true... and that people today can too see past themselves and contribute to something bigger, larger, something perhaps only a romantic might embrace?

So, if you have a few spare seconds today,
one more post might take them over the top!
