I got an email from MY AGENT (which I still haven't gotten used to saying) telling me he's sent my book to someone. I was just looking at the publisher's website and I honestly got light headed. How can this really be happening? It's so exciting and terrifying. This reaction is normal, right?! :e2thud:

I thought by now I'd feel like a professional but nope, I still feel like a wannabe who's dreaming of being a writer someday!

Yep, perfectly normal. On a couple of less Googlable forums I belong to, I post my book title and its current status in my sig - and I still have to pinch myself whenever I spot "full ms with agent and editor" out of the corner of my eye!
