, and you're right, it is a great start to the writing day. I have two story projects I need to finish today and I need to rev up to them.
Something that's NOT a great start to the day at all is having the toilet overflow all over your feet and the clean clothes you were about to put on, which is what happened to me fifteen minutes ago. Before breakfast, even! I flushed at the very moment the washer chose to drain, and the antiquated plumbing in this house can't handle that much water at once.

oh gross! ha! My 4 year old stuck a sippy cup in the microwave yesterday and turned on the grill function while I was writing an article. big mess.
