That's inspiring! I believe they'll be able to image these planets optically within my lifetime. (And they'd better hurry!

)I saw this article, too. Neat, weird and headscratchy stuff, doesn't fit the "standard" model of planet formation very well. Which means, of course, that the "standard" model ain't so standard. But that's why scientists actually do science, rather than sit around assuming stuff.
