English accents
Diet soda, very cold, in a glass glass, not a plastic glass, a straw and lots of ice
hot coffee with my favorite chocolate flavored creamer
a really good book
music I can get lost in
English gothic/romantic literature and then when it is turned into movies/miniseries - I don't know why, I suspect the accents and the fancy furniture/houses... and the hot men
pizza with thick crust
the smell of the air after a good rain on a cool day
unexpected emails and/or pm's

Watching the snow fall

Sitting on the beach with my toes in the warm sand, listening to the surf.

The sound the leaves make when you step on them in the fall.

My little cousin's laugh (she just turned three :) )

Going home to see my parents and giving them a big hug.

Spending a few hours by the pool in the summer, laying out in the sun while listening to jazz music. sooo relaxing :)

World domination...duh.

Hmmm...I dunno. Things I used to be interested in, I find I've lost interest in. I used to be an artist. Don't do much with that anymore. I used to be into comicbooks. Don't read them much anymore. I wanted to be a composer years ago. I'm too lazy to go back to school to learn how to properly write music even though I've always had a decent ear. I wanted to be an actress/director/screenplay writer, etc. My short term memory is too bad to remember lines, film schools that matter are too far away and expensive, and writing a screenplay is well...hard and stuff.

These days it's reading, watching movies, spending too much time online, attempting to write something occasionally, more reading, watching movies, eating and sleeping too much.

Writer's block...that's it. Lots and lots of writer's block so far. :D

HOW DO YOU START A THREAD?

Sorry for posting this on your question. If you want I can delete it after but I really would like to know...

Go to the forum section where it shows all the threads in that section of AW. Like, in Office Party, go to the page which lists all the threads.

Just above those threads, above the trademark blue line, should be a big blue button that says "New Thread".

Click that. You have to enter a title in the appropriate field, and some text in the text box.

Submit thread.

Anyway, buddy. Don't underestimate the bunny's alcohol-consuming abilities. I'll take you up anytime. Just get me some proper Greek alcohol, like ouzo or raki or mavrodafni (the sweetest red wine you've ever tasted, in fact sweeter than sangria or port. You drink one small glass and you're out) and we'll see who's K.O. first. :evil

*I am so jealous of all of you drinkers*

I can no longer imbibe. Have one for me! I miss savoring a nice drink. Dark, dark foamy beer, red (not sweet) wine, and tequila. Maybe a good dry drink now and then, but nothing girly.

Bottoms up, people! On me. I'll drive.

I can drink - I get migraines no matter what I do, so why the hell not? - but I can't hold my ale like I used to. In my late teens and early twenties I could drink like a fish, but these days I have a far lower tolerance for alcohol. I stick to vodka or vodka alcopops (there's a reason so many of my female characters drink Smirnoff Ice whenever there's a pub/club/bar scene...self-inserts FTW!) and get drunk very easily these days.

For all my joking about being Scottish and a piss-head, I drink surprisingly little of the stuff.

MissMacchiato
01-31-2011, 03:22 AM
I used to be able to drink litres of vodka, and then somewhere around age 20, I seemed to get an allergy to it. One drink and I'd be out like a light, or have the hangover from hell.

I never touch the stuff now unless it's in a cocktail :)
