Hi all, I'm working on an article about customer service in the pizza industry, and I need to speak to a (non-California) pizzeria owner who provides excellent service, above and beyond type stuff. Got a local place that goes the extra mile? Please let me know!!

PLEASE NOTE: I cannot use anecdotal stories! I need to talk to the pizzeria people! So if you've got a great story from your childhood or that last place you lived, but you don't have the number of the pizza place (or if you give me the number of a place that WAS great before they closed), I can't use it and it is just really frustrating.

Thanks for the help!

I hate to think of how many replies you'll get to this . . .

I'll add a couple:

Nick's, Franklin, TN. http://nicksitaliandeli.com/default.aspx

Caesar's, Nashville, Tn. http://caesarsitaliano.ypguides.net/ (The pizza isn't the best I've ever had, but the people are great. It's one of those places with photos of anyone who's anyone on the wall, often taken with the owner.)

If you call any locally owned pizza place I'm sure they'd be glad to talk to you if you tell them you're doing an article on customer service.

I've got two:

Gino's Pizza and Brew - Orlando, FL http://www.ginospizzaandbrew.com/
One of those fantastic "drunk food" places after the bar, hugely busy but they always make time to make every customer feel like the only one

Angeli on Decatur - New Orleans, LA http://angelirestaurant.webs.com/
Not just pizza, it's a full casual Italian place, but equally renowned for their gourmet pizzas and their customer service
