Well, hell. I think this just concretes my decision to join SCBWI. Hot damn, I do like an open bar.

There are all kinds of agents who tweet on twitter. They chat back and forth sometimes...

Yeah-- I run a google group and I think we're up to 90 agents now. We regularly ask each other about experiences at various publishers.

And we most definitely hang out in person and at conferences. In fact the best place to casually run into an agent at a conference is the hotel bar.
