It was okay in the beginning, but as soon as it hit her final mediation with the couple, it all started to go downhill.
The show just started hitting you in the face with ideals and morals and concepts, over and over.
I don't really have high expectations of USA shows (so I was pleasantly surprised by Royal Pains, better than their stuff usually is), but still, the dialog in this show was incredibly bad. It just didn't sound real. I just couldn't imagine people having the sort of discussions they did when it comes to Kate. Other characters are better, but none are all that great. Except maybe for the "extra mile."

Not to mention that parts of the show do not make logical sense: "I want you to do the right thing." (She says as she's blackmailing him... 0.0 )

I wasn't sure what to make of the ending...

Third episode...it was better.
My two main problems were:
--The locker room scene...strange.
--Justin just handed over his credit card to another person...maybe it's just me, but I'm hesitant to hand over something like that to even immediate family members, let alone the secretary of my ex-wife (if I had an ex-wife).

The ending was quite satisfying though.

I think the second season is better

Unlike Harry's Law in which the show died a painful death in the second season.
