Looking for a Transgender or Genderqueer Beta Reader

Mac said this was okay to post in either this forum or the beta reader forum; figured it would be more appropriate here.

Anywho...I'm juuuuust about finished with an UF that deals with some transgender and genderqueer issues. Without going into tremendous detail about the plot, one of my POV characters is a shapeshifter who's able to shift between genders at will, but loses the ability to do so. Most of the story deals with the emotional and social ramifications, how it affects a romantic relationship, etc.

I'd really like to have someone who is TG or GQ read it. I want to make sure I'm not completely screwing up the character's motivations, emotions, etc., particularly as they relate to gender, as this is somewhat unfamiliar terrain for me. I want to make sure I'm not inadvertently being offensive, overlooking something, or otherwise doing something that's completely off the mark. A friend of mine who identifies as GQ has been guiding me from the beginning, but isn't available to beta read a novel, so thankfully I haven't been flying completely blind.

It'll be roughly 70,000 words, and I suspect it'll be ready for a second set of eyes by the beginning of next week. It does contain a couple of explicit M/M scenes, but I wouldn't categorize the book itself as being erotic. I'm not looking for a line edit or anything like that, and it'll probably still be somewhat rough, but I want to make sure I'm not completely screwing something up with the characters before I sit down and give the story that final polish.

I'll let you know. I haven't even settled on where I'm going to submit this sucker when it's ready, so I'm not in a huge hurry. Let me know if you're freed up and want to read it; I'd love to have as many people take a look at it as I can.

Just wanted to post another THANK YOU to everyone who helped me with this book...as of this morning, Static is sold to Amber Quill, and will be out in June. I'm really excited about this one, and grateful beyond words for everyone who beta read it, since it crossed into some areas with which I was unfamiliar.
