OK, I'm sorta shameless, but I don't care.
My son has been "out" since age 11 and is super involved in a Gay Youth Group at our local LGBTQ center here in Sacramento.
His group has been planning their Queer Prom since, like, Septemeber. (Prom scheduled for March.) Anyway, they have the chance to get a donation from Out Word Magazine's Drag Queen Bingo. This is a really cool, brave and supportive group of kids. They will have their Prom either way, but it would be so awesome if they can do it with a bit of $$$!
So my shameless request is this.
Please go to their website and vote for Queen Youth Prom. You don't have to register for anything. Just go to their home page and vote on the right hand side. One vote per day.
