You know the times.

It's like 5 in the morning, but you're so pumped about that scene that you just keep writing and writing. Could be a novel, could be a forum post, could be a blog - anything!

You know what words you want to write, but sometimes...that's not what makes it to the page.

Share your blunders here?

I meant to write: "He clenched his jaw."
I actually wrote: "He clenched his chair."

Where the hell is my mind?

Written yesterday in a sleep deprived frenzy, fueled by coffee and steroids. It's from something I'm considering either turning into a "real" WIP, or using as fire starter. I'm not sure which yet.

ETA: It's more than a sentence, but you need both paras to get a real feel for the atrociousness.

Dwayne, having never paid much attention to Macy, caught his mind drifting to unexplored places. After years of not giving her a second thought, he now found himself picturing her with her skirt hiked to her waist, pinned to the wall by nothing but his throbbing manhood. Consequences be damned.

Macy, finally accepting the fact that she would never be noticed by anyone for any reason, flipped him the bird and continued to scrub the floor. Her mind filled with fantasies of escaping to Mexico, or possibly even death. When she realized that no one would attend her funeral, she pulled her thoughts back to Mexico.

Some days, the words just roll. Other days, not so much.
