I looked for this thread assuming somone would have started it. If I just didnt look hard enough, feel free to do the magic merge on this. If not, let's get this over with. New Years Resolutions everyone. Time to start thinking and declaring. I have three. Two of them are pretty lame

1. Lose Wieght. (stupid, cliche, but if you've seen my wasitline, you know it is needed.)

2. Stop Smoking. (I know, I am so unoriginal)

And 3. The one I am most excited about.

3. Do something that has to do with writing and/or getting published everyday. Whether that is editing, writing on a WIP, or sending out a query.

What about everyone else? Maybe if we join together it will be easier.

last year my new years resolution was to start cooking more often, which I did starting around September, so I still think that counts.

THIS year, it will be to cook even more frequently, so I'm thinking I'll start in August.

2. Finish all unfinished manuscripts.
3. Relax more.

Not necessarily in that order.

To lose more weight and to do MORE actual writing instead of coming up with brilliant story ideas in my head that I forget by the time I remember to write them down.

I don't really enjoy New Year's resolutions because I never stuck to what I was planning to do. If I wanna do something, I'll just do it. Yet, there is something I'm hoping will get finished in 2011 and that is getting my friggin novel done!

1. Get in shape.
2. Finish all unfinished manuscripts.

These.

I've like 5 unfinished/not edited manuscripts to work on.

Want to get fit. Tired of being tired. :)

I also want to save more money than I did last year and finally fix a budget I can live with.

I also want to read more. :)

Well I think the only goal I accomplished in 2010 was to find a steady source of income. Luckily, that involves writing so I'm happy about that.

For 2011:
1. Make as much money as I can. (I was job hunting for about a year and a half or more, so I have some debts.)

2. Smile more, be more positive/upbeat.

3. Exercise every day.

1. Pick one of the three novels I've been working on and finish it.
2. Eat healthier.
3. Start cooking real meals instead of the kind that come in a box.
4. Think more positively about work, health, and life in general.
5. Read more blogs.

I love everyone's resolutions!!! We can do it!

I find that my resolutions are often broken. But maybe this year, we can band together and actually get these things going. I for one am helping my new years resolution of losing wieght by eating all the sweets in my house by New Years. I know, it is a rough task, but someone has got to do it. :)
