Don't worry about it. We don't understand cricket.

Ermmm.... you misunderstand me. I've been a Bears fan for about 20 years so I understand the game. I just don't know why this is so high-scoring. I mean, it's the Bears!

Shame this isn't the late game. I could have seen it on the TV. Does anyone know if NBC are going to show a game tonight?

Oops. Sorry.

I'll check on NBC and report back.

NBC will have football tonight. In my location it's the Vikings vs. the Eagles.

The trailer during the Jets/Bears game said the Vikings/Pats was post-poned to Tuesday night because of weather.

Isn't the Minnesota game off because of the weather?
I'm not sure. That's what AOL TV is still listing.

I have a friend who went to the Green Bay game. What a nut. I don't even want to guess how cold it is there.

Yep, that's what the NBC site says as well.

It might have been too late to move another game into that time slot. They don't say that anything will replace the Vikings/Eagles game.

What normally happens in these situations?
They might normally move another game to that slot, but it might have been too late to reschedule anything else. Most other teams are playing this afternoon.

If not . . . NBC will be showing an old movie! Would you like to see Sister Act again? ;-)

Can you get Fox? They're showing the Green Bay game.

No, unfortunately not. Unless they are streaming on the internet. But then we normally record it and watch the next morning. Don't fancy staying up till 3 in the morning.

The Titans haven't been very good this year, but they've provided plenty of excitement off field (including a coach and a highly-paid quarterback who are not talking to each other). My office window just almost looks out on the Titans training field.

Yeah, there's been some interesting stuff going on off field this year. So who do reckon will go? Your coach or your QB?

Vince Young. Great college player, but he don't have what it takes to be an NFL star. The last incident was the last straw.

Why, what happened?
I thought you knew. This last incident involved him just about giving up during a game, throwing his helmet into the stands, and then getting into a verbal brawl with Coach Fisher. He's redshirted for the rest of the season, supposedly for a minor injury. The week after the incident he wasn't even allowed into the Titans facility. Whenever Young gets frustrated he just gives up; he can't take the pressure of the NFL.

Sorry, we don't get a lot of news here and on the internet, I tend to concentrate on what's happening with the Bears..... sorry.

Sounds like he was a bad pick.

It happens. Back a few years ago everyone here wanted them to get Peyton Manning. Manning is still extremely popular here because he played for the University of Tennessee. I'm not sure whether they still do it or not, but it used to be that even Titans fans would wave orange and white (UT colors) when the Colts were playing the Titans and Manning was introduced.

But at least you won't be getting first pick next year.... LOL!
I think until this afternoon, the Titans could still have theoretically won their division (everything would have had to have gone perfectly for them). How weird is that.

I've noticed that it can happen when a ... erm... 'lower' team takes the first pick, it can go wrong easily. They are good qbs playing with a not so good team. So all the skills tend to get wasted. And that puts pressure on them. And not all of them can handle it.

If I was an owner, I would swop the first pick for 2 or 3 lower picks.
