Details, but then I'm a bit of a nerd, I like to know things like file size often enough that it's worth leaving it in that mode.

I'm a Windows user but a Vista hater. Unfortunately, Vista infests three of my machines. I love the details. Does that make me a nerd?

99% of the time I use List because it's so quick. I can't figure out how to set it up as default though. Please help. I'm on Windows 7

Thumbnails for nearly everything on my Vista laptop.

On my XP netbook, it's thumbnails for photos, icons for songs within individual album folders and list for word documents in my writing folders.

Yes, I am that anal about organisation.

Details. It offers the best overview and makes finding files quickest. And filenames really need a whole line.
For image sorting and similar tasks i use a separate program.
