Christmas came early...

My hubs couldn't wait, especially since it's the height of baking season.



I couldn't believe it. I've admired these mixers for years but I never entertained the thought of buying one.

He's been squirreling away money for months and when I asked him why he would go back on our agreement not to exchange gifts this year he said "I've watched you go without so I could have things I didn't need but wanted. I wanted you to have something you wanted."

I'm. Making. COOKIES!!!

I made oatmeal raisin cookies with no stress on my jacked up elbows. What a joy. I predict we will be so sick of cookies by next week I'll have to move on to cake!!

Well, I'd never even considered being able to have one so I haven't looked at the attachments but I'm assuming they're like shoes. Gloria needs shoes.

I have made soft pretzels. Never have had a successful run of these but today with mah new toy they are perfect.
