Who's she talking to?

So she's from a time when they're advanced enough to have time travel, but not advanced enough for Bluetooth?

Not to be a killjoy - but where's the phone mast she's connected to? Without connection she ain't talking to no one.

Although it does look kinda freaky tbh,

Everybody can relax. Jean-Claude Van Damme has apprehended her and thrown her off of a building.

Another mission successfully completed by the Time Enforcement CommissionTM!

Assuming people with time machines are still using mast dependant mobile phones...

I like to think that if I had a time machine, this is some of the foolishness I'd be up to. Playing pranks on the entire past by showing up in film and photography with some anachronistic tech in hand...

Maybe Michael Caine is actually a time traveler! It would explain a lot...

This topic came up on another totally unrelated forum that I'm on and one person stated that if you look this up on Youtube, there is a comment that it is a Siemen's hearing aid.

As someone else there also pointed out, if it were really a cell phone who is being called?? What service are they using?

ack!

btw, one of the crayettes held a potato to her ear the other day and was talking into it as if it were a phone. from a distance it was impossible to tell if she had a phone or a potato.

i use my potato phone all the time. it gets reception from the big spudnick in the sky.

I've got to be honest, I thought that 1928 referred to the actual time it was filmed last week.

If I could time travel, I sure wouldn't take my mobile phone with me. The thing's a complete pain in the arse. I'm sure I'd get back to 1939 or whatever and go, "Wow!" and then my mobile would ring and it'd shatter the illusion that I was the first time traveller, cos it'd be a telemarketer asking if I still lived in the 21st century, and if not whether I'd like to change my long distance carrier.

Always the same.
