I have never actually created a resume (CV for the Euro ppl) and wanted some feedback on one I created for my wordpress blog.

I realize that it helps if the resume is targeted at a company or position. This is more of a general purpose resume to get a better picture of my academics/experience.

Feel free to say that it is pointless without a target audience. (This may be in the wrong section; if so please move it)

Have you never had a job before?

Ever?

A resume needs job information. What have you done? Granted, if you are fresh out of college, there are places that will be lenient about how much job experience you have had.

If you worked on campus, had a volunteer assignment, or did anything, you need to list that at the top.

What skills do you have? All I see is what courses you completed. Did you get an A in those courses? Did you apply it to anything?

Can you type? What kind of job do you want? There's a lot of open ended questions there. Like you said, I can't tell what you can do.

Here's a good starter: http://blog.penelopetrunk.com/2003/09/29/rules-for-writing-your-first-resume/

Thanks very much and I have included your advice.

I have never really held a salary job, so no luck there.

I put my volunteer work under "community involvement" closer to the bottom

Skills including word processing are included at the bottom as well
