I am looking for a beta for my 99k word dystopian novel Shell. I need someone who's willing to be brutally honest and tear my manuscript a new one.
A brief description (Sorry my query isn't written yet) In the Enlan Compound, there are simple truths: the High Chancellor is always right, the Enforcers are absolute, and imperfection will not be tollerated.
Adam Fenn, the son of the High Chancellor, thought he was perfect. Until an assasin rips open his stomach and reveals he's more metal than man. He is the first of his father's Metamorphosis, a plan hatched to smooth all of humanity's flaws. He flees the Compound with the help of Jamie Winchester, a boy who's blood has strange healing propperties.
Together they cross Dead Man's Land and embark on a search for Paradise. But sooner or later, the boys will have to come to terms with their own problems and return to the Compound before Adam's father completes the Metamorphosis and turns the helpless citizens of Enlan into mindless shells.
