I was looking for a birthday card for my girlfriend and ran across this:

Two women talking.

Woman #1: So where are you celebrating your birthday at?

Woman #2: Don't end a sentence with a preposition.

Woman #1: So where are you celebrating your birthday at, Bitch.

I thought this was hilarious! Forgive me for the bad word.

I've seen this card. Very clever. I think it's a Hallmark - Shoebox line.

I've purchased that card before. It is indeed a really funny card that writers especially can appreciate.

Turns out it's an Andrews and McMeel. Charlie recently sent it to me as an example of things that are selling well there

Just wanted to take a minute and introduce myself to the group. My name is Steve. I am very much looking forward to following you along and with a little luck, be able to put as much into this as I expect to get out of it.
I write for a living so hopefully any contributions I might be able to make will prove useful to some of you...or if nothing else, at least be a great way to help you kill your day.
I am primarily a niche' humor verse greeting card writer. To date, I have been at it for 238 years and 18 minutes. I am currently finishing up volume 3 of a 5 volume series of niche' greetings. I am, so far, on shedule and expect...if I can make my deadline, to releaase all 5 simultaneously in the spring or with a little bit of luck sooner. But with 101 greetings per volume, the clock is ticking.
Enjoy the day because having the last laugh truly matters.
Warm Regards To You All
Steve

Hi Steve and Welcome

Nice to have an experienced hand and a little more testosterone in the group. We're a bit female heavy, not that I'm complaining:)

Hey Jolly
Thanks for the hello and greet. Question, if you are looking for a gc artist here, is there a spot somewhere I'm missing to view samples of
artists work or is that a no-no here?
I can't always tell who are writers and who are artists. I'm in the middle of a sizeable project in need of a fairly productive artist. Pretty basic stuff. black and white artwork ...just alot of it.
