Is there a place to report piracy copies on the internet for e-books?
Or is this so rife now it is simply ignored?

You can try contacting the author with a link to wherever you find their books, but most pirating sites couldn't care less.

Contact the author and or/publisher. They can then contact the owner of the site where the pirated copies are being offered and demand that their copyrighted material be removed from the site. As often as I've contacted sites from ebay to torrent sites, I've never had a site owner refuse to remove pirated material--with good reason.
