Apropos of nothing, what does your full name mean?

Julia means youthful (or soft-haired!), and Knight means, well a Knight, but the root it comes from, and it's original meaning, is 'youth' or 'boy'.

So, adding my sekrit middle name, my name means Youthful Life Youth.

This is better than my original name which was Youthful Life Of France ( oh the shame! It can also mean Free Man though, so I'll go with that, though it's kinda nebulous...)

My daughter's name means Sea-nymph Gracious Youth

My husband is First Supplanter Youth. My son is Forest Peace Free Youth

Edward means "Prosperous Guardian" *coughs* Right. Have no idea what I'm guarding, but it sure doesn't pay well.

Joseph means "He Will Enlarge." Wow. I never looked into that before. That sounds like a commercial for Smiling Bob.

Have absolutely no idea what my last name means and we're not even sure where it comes from.

My first name means "Princess". What can I say, that is apt. My middle name means "God Is My Oath". Princess God Is My Oath sounds like a character from a terrible fantasy novel. My last name is extremely uncommon (less than 100 of us on the last census...but 400 on Facebook...) but I assume it is related to the name "Haycock" which means a variety of different things.

My real first name, which I don't reveal online, means either Heaven or Blind, depending on which source you believe. I do note that I have within reach my glasses, my task glasses for the computer, and my reading glasses--but that I am not wearing any of them, as is my usual pig-headed habit.

Christopher - bearer of Christ, and I was named after the saint.

My last name would be different if my Swedish ancestors hadn't come over when they did. Sven Peterson came over with his pre-teen son Harold Svenson (as was the custom), but at Ellis Island they insisted children have their parent's last name. So Peterson it remained.
