Before I signed with my current agent, three other agents were reading my manuscript. At this point I notified them, and two of the three politely bowed out. I never heard from the other one. Now, eight months later, let's say I've just left my agent. Should I approach the agent who was reading my manuscript and never responded to my note? If so, how much should I reveal about what happened when I signed with the other agent. Which is, absolutely nothing.

It's worth a try to contact that agent, but if they were seriously considering your MS back then, they probably would have jumped and offered also, after you notified them. If you do contact them, you don't have to reveal anything. If they consider your MS again, you can always tell them you parted ways with your former agent and that the agent never took the book on submission.
